Bread Machine Reviews and Tips

Old fashioned buttermilk bread machine recipe

I love to use a bread machine to bake delicious bread on a regular basis for myself and my family.  I love fresh homemade bread but as a busy working mom, I just don’t have the time to make bread by hand.

The purpose of this site is to help those of you who are looking to purchase a new bread machine, whether it’s your very first bread machine or you are replacing one you already have.  I am someone who found bread machine reviews particularly helpful when I was deciding what model to buy, and later what models to give as gifts.  This site will also contain reviews of ingredients and accessories to use together with your bread machine.

Beyond helping you choose the best bread maker, this site is also geared to helping you use your bread machine better.  I’ll share tips and tricks (and some of my bread failures as well!) to help you get the most out of your bread machine.  I’ll share ideas and recipes for the vast variety of types and styles of yeast breads you can make with your machine, plus other yummy things like homemade jam and quick breads.  I’ll also talk about the best ingredients to use in your machine, and accessories that can take your home bread baking to the next level.

Whether you are new to bread machine baking, looking to get more use out of the machine you have, wanting to improve your machine baked bread, or searching for new ideas and recipes to try, I hope you will find this site useful.

Bread machines seem kind of foolproof, and it’s true that they are super easy to use and very convenient.  However some machines are better than others, and “better” really depends on your own needs.  I actually make bread most of the time using my trusty Zojirushi bread machine, but also sometimes with my Kitchenaid stand mixer or my Cuisinart food processor to do the mixing and kneading for me.  This site will primarily be focused on the best automatic bread machines and how to make the best bread with them.

It’s very possible (probable, really) that not every recipe that you throw into your machine will come out perfectly.  Not to fear, this site will help guide you in the right direction to choose the best bread machine and to get the absolute best bread out of it.

So let’s get baking!
